A Pair of English Porcelain Hand-Painted Square Cache Pots
Attributed to Coalport and Coalbrookdale Porcelain Factory, Circa 1850
apparently unmarked.
Height 7 x width 5 1/4 x depth 5 1/4 inches.

Condition
pot 1: with some occasional loss to gilding commensurate with age, two finials possibly re-glued or adhered to body, small surface knick along rim, two feet with chips to corner edges, hairline crack along base, and to underside emanating from drain hole, a couple seam cracks along one edge, with some yellowed or discoloration residue to surface to each side; pot 2: two finials are restored and have overpainting evident, one of the finials is slightly loose, and the other with slight chip along base, the other two finials with some loss to gilding, generally with some loss to gilding elsewhere, two feet with some subtle hairlines present, and another more prominent hairline extending above a third foot, seam crack along one corner, with some discolored or yellowed residue to side panels
